Total of 40 MCC missionaries and their families visit Korea on 5/22-5/28
CTS, a Christian Television System invited 30 missionaries and 10 family members to Korea for a week during 5/22-5/28. These Missionaries were part of Mennonite Central Committee and they volunteered to help war orphans, people suffering from poverty, and many other things. They worked around Daegu and Kyungsan during 1952 to 1971.
These missionaries came after the Korean War to help the Korean people recuperate from the war. They helped in educational fields, hospitals and many other fields. These missionaries were angels from God that sacrificed themselves for others.
On average most of them are 80, however, the elderly age will not stop them from coming back to Korea to meet the friends they dearly missed. We are happy for those who are waiting to visit Korea and we bless them and sincerely wait for their arrival. We are thankful for the CTS staff that made this possible.
